Out Disc Golfing With My Wife
What wife I have. We went to WSU Vancouver and played a round of disc golf. It was raining on and off, and then it was sunny, typical Washington weather. Roxanne and I don’t get out and to things together, we always go places with our kids, or we are alone grocery shopping. So, getting out on a raining and sunny day to play disc golf was a date. I loved it. We had a lot of fun.
I didn’t push Roxanne to do this, or that, but let her throw. I would then let her know what she did wrong to correct it. When she did, the disc went really far, especially when she used my discs that are heavier,169 to 173 grams, than the newbie discs, 150 grams.
We need to get out more, and I need to take her to open field to let her practice throwing. I’ve entered the family in the “The Worlds Biggest Disc Golf” event at Timber on May 5th and 6th. That weekend it should be a lot of fun, it isn’t a tournament, but a gather of disc golfers getting together to have fun, clinics, and play disc golf.
Till next time.
