Greenway DG Course, Beaverton, OR

Well I finally made it out to Greenway DG Course today. I had a lot of fun learning the course. It is very comparable to Glenwood DG Course, Vancouver, WA. Both have 9 holes, trees, and left and right fairways. Glenwood’s map isn’t current if you looked at the link.

For my first time through Greenway I was 6 over par. Not bad in my book for never playing the course before. My second time through I was 4 over, and I lost my new Z surge, with Rose City Open Tournament stamp on it, in the brambles on the left side of the 4th fairway. I was just learning how to use this overstable disc. I was hoping to release it with an anhyzer but it went flat and high and right into the bramble.

If you every get a chance to get out to Beaverton and want to play a great fun course, check out Greenway. There was posting for a free tournament on Sept 22nd there. I’m hoping to get out there and enter. It all depends on my schedual at work.

I also think that Stumptown needs to get out there and put up some signs.

Till next time.
