It has been a long time since I last posted anything. A lot has happened in the past few months, but I really had the time to post anything.
Last month, my very good friend, Jason Ackerman, came back to Vancouver for a visit. He moved to Denver area, and came back home for the holidays. I didn’t get to visit with him all that much do to my work schedule and all the people he needed to visit. Some of our friends threw a party or gathering for his family. For those that knows him, there was a poker game that I really wanted to go to. I didn’t get to make it, since I had to be at work at 5:30 in the morning the next day. Poker and Jason always seems to come to mind when he comes home, funny how that works. His family also came over for a chili feed with our old small group at my house. Again I was not able to be there for the whole dinner, due to my schedule. So my advice when your friends comes home for a visit take time off. With that having been said, his visit home seemed short. My family needs to make a trip to Denver.
My job is going well, I’ve just got off my 6 month probation. I get to start to be a little sterner to the youth that ride the bus, of course I’ll always say please.
As far as disc golf, I haven’t really been able to play that much. There has been a few tournaments that Stumptown DG has put on. The tournaments have taken place on the weekend, and my days off are during the week. Although with the new bid at work, I should be able to have the weekend off. I hope to be able to participate in a tournament.
