It’s been a while

I haven’t wrote anything for a while, so I guess it’s time for me to do so.

Over the past few months, a lot has happened. The house next door is going to be up for sale, and my mother in law is trying to buy it. We are going to help all we can to have that happen. Right now it looks like it could happen as long as she can get a loan to get the ball rolling.

Easter has come and gone, and my family helped out with the Good Friday service, and the Easter Egg hunt at Hough Elementary school. I never helped cook so many hot dogs before.

I took part in my very first PDGA sanctioned Disc Golf tournament in Estacada, OR at Milo Mciver State Park. It is normally a 27 hole course, but for tournaments they make it into a 36 hole course. My first round was 85 on the west side of the course, and 82 on the east side. Both the east and the west courses were a par 60. I started out trying to hard, I was not driving very accurately, and my putting was not bad with in 15 feet of the basket. I’m not saying that I drive very accurate to start with, but as far as the way I currently drive, I could have done better. Right now I’m trying to learn how to throw forehand, I’m driving backhand right now, and I want to improve my game.

So thats my first tourney in as brief a description as I can make it.

Till next time
